SMS Consent Process
This page publicly documents how AG Holmes Handyman Services obtains customer permission for text messaging through its Field Office job-completion process.
Where Consent Is Collected
At the completion of an in-person service visit, the customer is shown the job-completion/signature screen in the AG Holmes Field Office system. Text consent is presented as a separate choice from the job-completion signature.
Service-Related SMS Choice Shown to the Customer
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
The checkbox is not pre-selected. The customer must actively select it to opt in.
Separate Promotional SMS Choice
Reply STOP to opt out.
Promotional consent is separate from appointment and job-status consent.
What Happens After Opt-In
If the customer selects the service-related SMS option, consent is recorded on the customer record with the date, time, and associated job. While valid consent remains on file, repeat customers do not need to provide the same consent again for each new job.
If a customer opts out by replying STOP or is otherwise marked opted out, that opt-out overrides prior consent.
